Dr Ahmed Al-Nowfal is a fellowship-trained Interventional Radiology Consultant specialising in Interventional Oncology at University College Hospital London, where he co-leads the Prostate Artery Embolisation and Pulmonary Thrombectomy services. He performs a broad range of complex vascular and non-vascular procedures and reports advanced genitourinary and oncological imaging, combining high-quality clinical outcomes with strong multidisciplinary collaboration and patient-focused care.

He has an active academic and leadership portfolio, with peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and involvement in major clinical trials including STRIKE and VISION. He also leads on service development within Interventional Radiology and plays a key role in education as a Clinical and Educational Supervisor and former national FRCR course lead.
